Mailing Contact Lenses - when social distancing presents a new challenge...

At a time when many of us will still be settling into ordering online and sending and receiving essential items by post, we have put together some information to help you successfully post out contact lenses. Perhaps you are a dispensing optician, recently having to make the switch to postal contact lenses in order to meet social distancing guidelines, while still fulfilling the needs of your existing customer base. Read on to find out more about our contact lens packaging...

Lil die cut 26x17x3 is a very strong, stiff, pizza style die cut, cardboard postal box. Made from 100% FSC certified sustainable cardboard. This particular cardboard box is ideal for shipping up to 2 months of contact lenses and solution through the letterbox.

Brown in colour and guaranteed not to let you down, the Lil die cut 26x17x3 is produced by ourselves in our world class factory using single wall, FSC certified (Forest Stewardship Council) 150 Kraft E flute 150 Test corrugated cardboard.

The Lil die cut 26x17x3 is our improved and perfected 21st century alternative to the inferior, 19th century industry norm FEFCO 0420/ 0421/ 0426/ 0427/ 0428/ 0429 carton cases available from everywhere else.

The difference is that our attention to detail gives you unboxing excellence in mailing internet retail...at an affordable low cost price. Below are the reasons why we are really proud of this amazing packaging, and why it might be just right for you!

  • Fastest speed: Everything creases and locks into place faster with the Lil die cut 26x17x3 than anything else like it, thus speeding up your packing process.
  • Best presentation & security: The hinged lid neatly and precisely aligns with the rest of the box leaving no nasty looking gaps. This feature offers security and prevents theft in transit.
  • Strongest & stiffest to protect from damage: This die cut cardboard postal box has double strength thickness left and right side walls, plus the perfected height flaps add up to 3x side thickness strength.

Even during these challenging times, Lil continues to put environmental impact at the forefront.

We have spent the past 2 years tirelessly eradicating plastic from both our product line up and our warehousing and operations, as well as helping our internet retailing customers (from IR500 giants through to sellers on Etsy) make the switch to sustainable plastic free packaging.

We're still going through the processes, but we look forward to adding the Plastic Free certification mark to our products over the coming months and helping more and more online businesses to mail happy during these challenging times!
